From the first moment we met you, when we came to view Derek, we knew, instinctively, that you were the person we wanted to help us through, and you didn't let us down. All your recommendations were perfect for Derek's funeral service. The flowers, as pictured on the front, by Mark were amazing, we have never seen such a beautiful display and I know that we will be making some large picture prints out of them for Helen and ourselves.

"Cottons arranged my Father's funeral in '96 and when it came to my mother's in 2015 they were the natural choice. Mum was 94 so we wanted a celebration of her life more than anything else and that's exactly what we got. The songs mum loved and the words we wanted to say. All organised through Jane who told us from the offset that they would do pretty much whatever we wanted providing it wasn't illegal! It was a beautiful service. So, when I lost by beloved husband just 3 weeks ago I ended up going back to Jane (even though I live 25 miles away from Weymouth) Once again, Jane let me choose exactly the way I wanted things to be - non religious, no hymns, no flowers and no sycophantic eulogies. My husband loved the SW States and had a genuine Stetson which they placed on his coffin. We had a lovely slideshow of photos with music (produced by my niece) and we chose who would say what and when. Jane certainly went the extra mile. She's amazing and I can't thank her enough."

The communications throughout were excellent and every small detail requested was looked after and actioned - which really helped as I am not local to Weymouth. "I don't even know if this is the thing to do, however here goes. My beloved brother passed away very unexpectedly and as one would expect total devastation, shock and horror ensued. I was recommended to Cottons no knowing what to expect as I had never personally arranged such a difficult event, however, Margaret was so welcoming ( despite me not having made an appointment). In the difficult days that followed Margaret was just so kind, patient.. I had to check and double check before making the simplest of decisions...so professional, full of empathy, compassion and understanding. She guided me through, allowed me to visit my brother as any times and for as long as I needed without feeling rushed. A truly beautiful experience if that makes sense, words just fail me for the gratitude I feel for this Lady and her company ...who were all fantastic even down to allowing me the honour of carrying my brother on his last walk into the crematorium, they patiently showed how and what to do.
